The Maille Family
Well we are a huge family of 5! If you had told me years ago that I'd be a mom of 3 I would have fainted. Now, here we are with 3 beautiful kids. So Mike and I are trying to document what we can online and in their baby books.

A Rainy Weekend
Well, my mom keeps sending me txt messages and photos of La Grange. I don't think she wants us to go there and she sure is trying to convince us NOT to. It's annoying. It's sunshiney here but with off and on showers predicted for today. My mom seems to think rain is the end of the world.
Philip is watching 102 Dalmatians, Natalie is STILL asleep- she's my night owl and can SLEEP IN. Thomas was up then he went back out and Mike is still asleep. I've been awake with Philip. I think we are the early birds. So now I am debating what to do. Get packed up and go to La Grange or stay. My mom seems anti go. I'll wait for Mike to finally wakey wake.
Thomas is finally doing a military crawl in the forward direction. He just needs to lift that butt and we have crawling! He sits up and plays with toys. He's a big boy.
Natalie seems to have grown overnight. She looks longer. She's 2 but I have her in 3T and that's looking short on her. She's our fashionista. She is so paticular about what she wears and her shoes. A girly girl.
Philip is officially registered for Kindergarten. We had to go get his last shot so his shot record would be complete. He was missing the last Hep A. I thought that was strange since the last time I went to the Dr. I asked them to give him all the last of his shots he needed. No worries, it's ok if you redo some vacs. As long as there is a record. So we went together and the nurse said he could have a flu shot and me too. SURE (even though I had already had a flu shot in Dec for work). So we go and the nurse asks me to hold him and we'll try to distract Philip. I said, no worries.. he's really good at shots. So I told Philip look over there.. Philip did.. and the guy gave him his hep.. then to the other arm.. I told Philip, look over there.. then the next shot. Philip didn't cry, flinch or even go ow. The Nurse was so impressed (Philip is SO good at shots, very matter of fact about them.) So then it was my turn for my flu shot part deux. So to show Philip even I get shots and they are no big deal. I got one.. looked to the side and got it, done. The nurse said that was a good attitude to have. Most of the time kids are scared about shots because how their parents act or others that make it seem like it's a bad thing or terrible. I just tell Philip we all get them it hurts for a second and it's over and I don't freak out so he doesn't either. I told him, no sense in crying so he doesn't. He is such a wise little boy. He's going to blow them away in kindergarten. So I turned in his paperwork and he is good to go. Orientation is the next event we attend. Can't wait!
That's about it on this early lazy Saturday.
