The Maille Family

The Maille Family
Well we are a huge family of 5! If you had told me years ago that I'd be a mom of 3 I would have fainted. Now, here we are with 3 beautiful kids. So Mike and I are trying to document what we can online and in their baby books.

May 2009 already!

Well it is the season for weddings!

I just went to the best wedding May 16, that I have ever been to in my life. My cousin Michelle. She had such a beautiful wedding. The place was beautiful, lots of family were there and it was a tear jerker for me. Such a fabulous wedding and she was such a beautiful bride! They looked so happy. I couldn't take enough photos that night. Mike and I had a blast but it was sad that we had to leave a bit early for the 2 hour drive back home to get the kids. I'll have to post photos as soon as possible about it. I saw so many family members and especially my cousin Michael. I hardly see him now that he lives in CA. It was so good to laugh with him again. I wish he was nearby still but I know he's happy there. Just like my best friend is in NY. I miss her too. Guess I'll have to travel some more in the future.

Philip is officially graduating on Friday May 29th to Kindergarten! I think he's way too ready for kindergarten but at his age he is supposed to be at a Kindergarten level. He can add, write, read a little and he does preschool software for first grade and above. The kid is smart. I hope his teacher recognizes it before he becomes bored. My sis told me that you get kids where the parents have worked with the child then you get those that come into kindergarten barely knowing how to hold a pencil. She said it's such a difference. I hope Philip won't be too bored.

Today he told me he wants to take some candy to his classmates. He even wrote Connor's name on a lollipop for him. It was so sweet. He filled his pockets up and gave it to each of the kids. He also has been starting this new trend where he wants to dress just like daddy. Whatever Mike wears he wants to wear too. It all started when I bought matching shirts for all the boys for Easter including Mike. Now Philip goes into his closet and wants to wear whatever Mike is wearing and whatever shoes he has. He also wants to wear a belt. I asked Philip the other day, where is your badge for work then and he smiled at me. He told me he wants to work where daddy works when he gets bigger. He and Mike went to get haircuts together a few days ago. He was telling me that daddy was telling him all about how he needs to be good, and not get his name on the board and to clean his room. Philip told me he's going to be a good boy.

Natalie is using the potty more and more. She was actually holding it and went today twice at school. We got so excited we went out and got her some girl pull ups. I can't WAIT for her to be potty trained. Our only problem is that now she wants to eat while sitting on the couch instead of at their table. She's very much into movies with dogs and if they talk, it gets even more points. We got really sick of 102 Dalmatians so now we are on one of the Airbud movies. I cannot believe how many times they want to see the same movie. Philip has seen Labyrinth a BILLION times. Pretty cool that he's watching old school movies we used to watch when we were little. Just goes to show you these movies pass the test of time. We also watch Wall-E pretty often. That's such a cute movie.

Thomas finally started to really crawl. I haven't seen him go a long distance but he does keep that butt up for short distances. Sort of unwormy of him now. His birthday is around the corner when he turns ONE! I can't believe it's been a year. His hair is starting to get really fluffy too. I think it's getting long so he might go for his first haircut when daddy and Philip go again. We will probably just have a little birthday party for him since we have so much going on. My mom and I are trying to plan something. Since I just finished that huge audit yesterday, I'm pretty tired mentally. Last week it was terrible to have that going on. My stress levels were high. I need a much needed vacation. Maybe when we go to PA I'll remember these days and just relax.
